Huda Kattan is truly a force to be reckoned with. After severing ties with Sephora because she’s a true humanitarian and feminist who vehemently opposes the atrocities the Western powers and corporations are endorsing in West Asia, Kattan’s Huda Beauty is going from strength to strength, proving that an independent company does not need the backing of an international conglomerate to make it big. This year, putting her money where her mouth is, Huda Beauty is partnering with Miss Universe Palestine, Nadeen Ayoub, as official sponsor for her participation in the Miss Universe pageant.

Nadeen, 27, is the founder of Olive Green Academy and the Sayidat Falasteen Foundation (the Miss Palestine Foundation), platforms that are dedicated to sustainability, education and women’s empowerment. Her work entails the merging of technology, environmental awareness and social impact to create a new approach in wellness, environmental awareness and opportunities for women — mirroring the values that Huda Beauty holds with the belief that beauty can be a force for empowerment and progress.

The 74th Miss Universe pageant will be taking place this November in Bangkok, Thailand where Nadeen will be competing with over 130 other contestants from around the world.
